Ocupado / Busy

English below (just look for the blue text),

Buenas,

----------------- English Version ------------------

Hi,

Apologies first of all: the adaptation process is having major side effects, particularly on my stamina...

I am sleeping as never and I am disconnected from the world: at work I do not use Internet, nor even Messenger ... And at home, once I arrive, I'm so tired that I only have dinner, stay awake for a while and then I go to bed...

I am having very interesting days while having conversations and meeting my colleagues at work (at the beginning It was a real battle of acronyms: at least, now, I know what they are talking about and, step by step, I am able to connect the pieces that will lead me to complete the Puzzle) ...

Going back home today, I met a colleague and we had a conversation about the differences between Spain and The Netherlands regarding work... It was quite interesting...

But perhaps, the most interesting was when, the other day, a co-worker told me "So you do like to write"...

"Yes... I do" I replied with a big smile ... But the funniest thing is that she also "likes to write" so, all of a ssuden, we were talking about music and movies (I recommended her a film whose content and whose music I particulary love: "K-Pax")...

I explained her why: the music is delicious, but the film (which I also recommend to you) gave name, for some time, to the company where I worked for... We called it "K-Pax" by the particularities and peculiar things in it... Sometimes, when talking to other people who work in other companies, we used to share views on ways of doing things on every company... We used to start saying, like "prot" (starred in the film) "in K-Pax..." explaining then those peculiarities... Actually what was a parallel dimension...

At work everything goes well, I am surrounded by brilliant people, so I spend most of the time listening, because I believe that I have little to say (when people around you know a lot more than you, it's better to listen and learn from them as much as you can) ...

I'm learning tons of things every day: because of being new, in addition, people used me to "test" things so, in the trams and buses here in Amsterdam, perhaps one day you'll see a boy reading papers and underlining things... Perhaps it is me (I were a suit but not tie: this is a good lead :-)) so, if one day so see a guy like this one, come closer tries to talk to this guy who writes weird things in those papers... Maybe he speaks your language :-))

That's all, it's bedtime because tomorrow I will continue learning more things... I apologize once again because of the discontinuity in post publication but I know you understand there's a good reason...

A hug: Amsterdam prevails! :-))

Paquito.

  1. that's our 'welcome' to you...

Anyway, I already have K-pax and I will let you know what I think about it as soon as I see it.

As you also complained not having enough information about PT culture, I will do the same thing as the company did... give full introduction in 2 weeks :-)

  2. Dear Ana :-))

As with the rest of people in here, allow me to please, first of all, thank you for your visit and your comment: it is a true pleasure to read you in here :-))

After this introduction: I hope you enjoy K-pax as much as I did (it is a really nice movie and Kevin Spacey nailed the role)...

I am looking forward to receive your "PT Training" but now I have to complain about you (you should be on holidays, having a great time, not reading blogs!!!! :-)).

See you on Monday but, before, once again, let me thank you once again for your visit and your comment :-))

    Kind regards from Amsterdam :-))
